Where?: Sydney Harbour Bridge.
When?: 17 July 2004
With What?: Canon PowerShot A60. 2 Mega Pixels

You know, in all my life living in Sydney, I have never before in my memory actually walked across the Harbour Bridge. I should probably find that kind of sad ._.. It's a interesting experience though~ Damn those freaky people who climb to the top of it. I was trying not to get an insane urge to drop my camera over the edge. Not to say there's not high railings and fences or anything, but you know. It's a bridge and all. A pretty big one too.

I think the Harbour Bridge has such nifty architecture. All those dark girders and curving shapes. It's probably not the sleekest bridge ever, but it has its charm ;D.

I must agree- the Harbour bridge is one of the coolest bridges around. It's not the longest or the highest, but we still love it :* )

Now that you mentioned it, before I left Australia I don't think that I ever walked across the Harbour Bridge...would have been such an incredible experience.

Really cool photograph- I don't think I ever saw the bridge from that perspective before (I'm used to looking at it straight on). It's a very dynamic shot, with a good balance between the colour of the sky and the frame of the bridge itself!

Thanks~ X3. Oooh, you've lived/been to Sydney? Coolies :). What did you think of it? XD. Yeah, I've never been up this close to it before. It puts a different perspective on things when you actualy walk across it and see it up close. This was taken from the walkway on the Opera House side, just after walking out from under one of the pylons.

I lived in Sydney for about 4 years before packing up and going to Canada- I really can't remember why I left Aussie for Beaver-land in the first place. Australia is so beautiful (really no other word for it), with good food, lots of friendly people, large dosages of sunshine, lethal birds flying into backywards to feed off the trees....drat, I miss it so much now.

Next time I go to Sydney (which isn't till a long long time, since I'm going to uni soon) I really should try crossing the bridge and looking at it from another point of view. Something I should at least accomplish before I turn 20- that's my target :D
