Nya~ o.O.... I seem to be saying that a lot. Reminds me of that cat from Trigun. But anyway... For what seems about the first time in a long time I've done a proper illustration in my sketchbook and gone and coloured it in. I don't seem to do that very often actually... mostly I just doodle aimlessly -_-. Or don't bother to colour things in... But that's not surprising considering this took me bloody 12 hours or something to colour in >.>.

Sketched in my A4 skethpad, inked with a Kuretake Calligraphy pen. Imported into PS for line-art editing, then into Open Canvas for colouring. Three days and too many late-nights later, back into PS for editing and BG. The result is this~ *_* Ah, it was worth it in the end I think. I swear I was going to hit someone if I had to draw another highlight in their hair >O. Blasted thing... I used my Magna Carta-esque style of colouring for this one, which denotes lineart-less semi-realism, which is a pain in the ass -_-;...

I'm tired of my characters being single :/... So i went and hooked them up >D. But in all seriousness... They're two character from a fictional work I'm working on. And yes, that's the same character from my last wallpaper as well. I need to write more.. it's been about a month since I last put a chapter up x_X. Bah... Did I tell you this was inspired from a perfume ad? Well it was... Yay for waffiness I tell you. I like this kind of emotion though. The simple expression of love for another person. Such a blissful thing. So small, so insignificant, the moment when you feel that indescribable feeling for someone else. Not that I'd know of course. I'm only 16~ But that doesn't mean I can't imagine what it would be like to be truly loved ;D. Has anyone heard this song? 'Wake Up' by Eskimo Joe... I was listening to it while colouring and the lyrics in the chorus caught me.

Good lord I'm ranting again... sod it, I do that all the time anyway -_-;... It's hardly new

Was and am glad to see this in my inbox. Couldn't see thumbies now coz dAv3 doesn't seem to allow that anymore...

There's nothing I can say about the tecnique. This piece is flawless...

I never really comment on pics that already have as many comments as this does, but I'll have to make an exception in this case.

The time and effort you've put into this have really paid off as it has all resulted in one truly stunning piece. The artwork is beautifully done, it's nice to see an anime style pic coloured in a realistic style for once. Everything flows and blends together so well too - the linework and colour interact beautifully and the minimalist use of the colour is a great touch too.

Overall, this is one of the best pics I've seen in a long while. This is going into my faves - keep up the great work! :D (Big Grin)

That's magnificent! Really awesome!
Certainly shows the glory of OC!
The hair shading on the top of his head looks like it could use a little more definition, but it's all really amazing anyway!
