Oekaki - Sombre Tones

Yes, let's listen to Kimi rant... I'm not in a happy mood. Ditto why I uploaded this pic. It's a recent Oekaki which suits my mood. Brooding... I'm only 5 days into year 11 and already it's grating on me. Half my classes suck because I have next to no-one to talk to, and to make matters worse my best friend, Kam, isn't in a single one of them. Call it what you will, but fate conspires against me. Japanese, the subject I want to learn with a passion, is somehow elusing me in the inspiration factor of things. I fumble on a few Kanji and the meaning of a few words, and suddenly it dawns on me I'm really going to have to work this year... I'm a natural procrastinator. Work is my enemy... stacks of homework do not make me happy, and right now, the stacks are looming.

But enough angst... you probably want to know about this picture, right? This is one of my original charaters, Mikaeru. Do not let first impression pursuade you, he's not normally this brooding. In some ways I think he's like me, in some ways he's not (don't mind me, I'm off in the vague relm of trying to sound philosphical...). He hides his worries behind a faccade of brash immaturity, at odds with the past that in all respects should have made him bitter and cynical. An oppurtunity for greater things, dashed like paper in a shreading machine... (Hell don't ask me what I'm writing). What he really wants may be out of reach, or maybe it's not what he wants at all... it depends on what I decide to do with him in my fic ;P... (I will finish it eventually)
