What?: Installation work for year 11 Visual Art.
When: First term, 03'
Where: Narabeen Lakes, Sydney
With: Mum's Asahi Pentax MX. Edited for B+W in PS

After a few land photo's of jamming the coils in various trees and such I traipsed around the edge of the lake near the mangroves to see what else I could do. They fell in the water a couple of times while I tried to get them to actually stay put, but in the end the weight of water on my jeans and mud on my feet was worth it. This is what I love about manuals actually.. the level of control you have on what you want to see, in a sense. You focus on what you want to focus on, not what the camera would have you see. Probably one of my favourite shots this one....

Looks pretty cool. Especially liking the balance and composition.

I love this. I really, honestly do. GREAT composition and lighting on your piece. It could perhaps be an even stronger photograph if you cropped a bit of the topmost section off to displace the large spiral in the center.

This is pretty. You were able to capture the differences between the coils and the trees. Very nice. The composition is great. However that top left cornor bothers me since it is so much light than the rest. It needs to be darkened, just slightly.
