Shusuke - Look to the sun BW

Title: Gur. Because he IS looking into the sun (well, he's supposed to be), and that Gersey song is cool.
Who?: Shusuke Kyuuhiko, an original chatacter, looking as old as he's meant to be for a change.

Okay, I'd do more than that, but two bold tags are the limit of my brain capacity at the moment. So I'll say that I know this image has issues, but I'm happy with it overall after having tweaked it after some other helpful criticism~ So you can point out faults if you want, but I'm probably too lazy to fix them . After Avi from the OzTaku magazine [link] contacted me after Animania I got the idea to draw this image, but because my grasp of anatomy is questionable at mest, I used a gigi-cam photo reference for the pose. I think the way I did his clothes makes it look more wonky than it is, but the foreshortening didn't suck for once~ Yay. And I've finally got his clothing and design down, which I haven't drawn properly for 2 years. I shall call this his summer outfit (Or equivalent thereof) because I couldn't be farked drawing his overcoat. And it's sunny~ Or something. His staff also went through a re-work (the thing in the middle of the circle is new), and he has no markings on his right cheek (I always forget not to draw them for the time-frame of this kind design...). He actually looks like the priest he's meant to be. Which reminds me, I need to figure out what they actually do. Or at least, their role in society. They're meant to be the third most influential political force in the land yet I know next to nothing about them ^_^;. Dang it!

I want to do a set of these for my main characters to get their design down, but I'll have to see how that pans out...
