2nd semester 2006. 2nd year Bachelor of Design/1st year Graphics/Media electiveI thought I'd upload some of my past Uni projects, since they're been sitting on my HDD for a good year or two (my only other Uni project on DA is Pasteboard Brick, which was the semester prior to this one)
The brief for this was more specifically to use text provided by the university and construct a magazine aimed at a target audience (film/photography people), incorporating a font we had created earlier in the semester (the 'TXT contents' font was made by me from cutting up rubberbands and making them into stamps).
These are the three interior spreads. Images of people were stock provided to us, but the photos of the camera/hand and the film strips was created by me.
I think my only major gripe is the font/leading of the body copy in the middle page, it's a bit tight. The rest I'm pleased with, especially the imagery and type on the last page.
