Her [Nynaeve's] Business was with this cow-faced brigand, facing her in the doorway of his shop with bloody cuts of meat hanging from hooks behind him. She gave her braid a tug and fixed the fellow with her eye.

"Very well," she said sharply, "I will take it, but if this is what you charge for so poor a cut, you'll have no more business from me"

He shrugged placidly as he took her coins. She glared at him as she put the wrapped meat into the basket, but that did not affect him. There was some excuses for the prices, she knew, but nothing excused the way everyone seemed ready to lie down and die. These people had had only one bad year... She had no patience with them.

She rounded a corner, and...

Yeah, what can I say... my attempt to illustrate parts of the Wheel of Time has not completely died~ x.X... let's just say it was on hiatus for a while as I tried chapter 19 from book three.... I kinda gave up on that tho. Lanfear talks too much... all those speech bubbles. So now I'm doing chapter 52 from book 3! ... What can I say, I like the Tairen Thief-catcher.



This will probably only make sense if you've read the book tho ... but yeah, feel free to look at the pictures anyway. It's not perfect, but hey, I'm proud of it . Heh, I already have the best part from this chapter done >.>... but I thought I may as well do the whole thing (Do you know how annoying Liandrin's hair is going to be? ...). It's probably going to take about 10 pages.... but I thought I may as well get something up. Maybe extra insentive to finish it.



And is it just me or do those clogs look like bricks? ....
