Sweet jeebus I can see Renji's underwear. DX

Despite my attachments to him, I find that just a little, well... creepy

What I'm talking about is Megahouse's 1/8th Renji figure [link] . I finally got him~ He and Rukia look sweet and snazzy together on top of my monitor (Seriously, I'm beginning to run out of room here though. No doubt one day they'll fall off and scare the bajeesus out of me). But yeah... Renji's underwear? I shit you not, if you look up his Shinigami outfit he's wearing a loincloth under there. If not for the fact I was on public transport at the time of this discovery, I would have cracked up laughing. As it was I couldn't help supress a wince and a giggle. Usually on models they don't sculpt things all the way through. I was expecting his pants to be solid plastic at least some of the way up, but then I was looking over him and discovered "Hey! They actually sculpted his legs instead of making his pants solid plastic *angles it again slightly*. Oh... dear me."

Rukia's skirt I can understand. You know, male fanservice and the like. But Renji? That's a whole 'nother level of wtf-ness.

If Uni assignments do not kill me, I would like to do the following in the holidays;

- Draw Bleach fanart
- Draw Wheel of Time fanart
- Go to New Zealand
- Write more... stuffness
- Finish writing some of said stuff
- Make a hardbound, personal copy of writing (Our lecturer brought in a book on bookmaking and I was just... *drool*)
- Get better at drawing

Hoorah!

...Now, just don't mention the assignments.

Oh, I also got a guitar off a neighbour who was clearing stuff out. I don't actually know how to play a guitar, but I figure it'd be cool to own one. Maybe I could take up lessons one day~ XD

A friend of mine lives in the north so I wanted to go see her. I've been there once before for a holiday with my family, but I'd like to visit the south some time as well :P

:XD: That Renji figure sounds... interesting XDD;
This Wheel of Time book thing sounds interesting o.o Is it actually a novel or a manga? Either way, I'd like a look XD Who's it by? :3
Humm, I remember in art last term my teacher said something about making 'art books' ... not like actual glossy-paged ones, but like, the pages are just all one big page that's been folded over and over again o.O And then you can kind of decorate it like a scrapbook. She showed us one by a Yr11 girl (it was so purdy *_* ) and I made one XD But it's not that good <_<" Neways, a hand-bound book would be coolies X33
Wah, and Kimi, if you improve, you'll be like... O_O :worship: :P
Haha, and what kind of guitar is it you've got? (Sounds like acoustic... that's like, the normal wooden one X3) Because I know how to play a bit of electric and bass... but acoustic is damn tricky x_x But I have like, 5 friends who can play electric, bass and acoustic anyway XD
*sigh* And I have exams and all of that coming up now too TT___TT :crying: At least that means no homework... Hoorah! XD Well good luck with your *BLEEP* ... XD
Neways, see ya 'round X3

That's one way of putting it, yes xD;...

If you like fantasy books you should give Wheel of Time a try~ It's a big fantasy epic by Robert Jordan, at 11 books and still going (Although the earlier books are his better ones, I think. There was something of a slide after 7). Albeit, its overarching plot is nothing spectacular and stays true to an epic good VS evil style, but his characters and sub-plots are what keep me reading. There's a lot of characters that you're bound to find at least one you like. It can be a little slow going too, but picks up the pace as you go along. My one complaint is that the latter books have so many sub-plots going on that... not that much gets done in each book :E (Jordan's writing style also can grate a little in places). But every book still leaves me wanting to know what's going to happen next, so that's a good thing xD

hehe, I just like the idea of being able to... hold my writing X3. Seeing it on a screen or print-outs are one thing, but having an actual book is another. Plus it's just nifty making books and journals and stuff. I've always had a soft spot for really aged, well-made books. I can live with paperbacks, but hardcovers are something special.

It's an acoustic XD. It came with a carry case and two picks as well. Although, since my left index finger had a slight altercation with a belt sander the other day (More of an "Ouch! Fuck!" moment than "Arggg my arm is bleeding!" moment. It just took off a layer of skin or two...) I can't really hold the pick properly anyway. I'm just mucking around and trying to play odd bits of songs XD

Bah, it's always like that at the end of the year. So close to holidays, but gotta finish exams as well DX. I only have one exam, but assignments take up enough of my time anyway. Speaking of which, I should go and finish them. Good luck with your exams too though XD. I'm sure you'll be fine~

Seems to sound like a Dan Brown book... only with a fantasy twist XD; I'll have to look for some books by this guy at the library next time I go X33

I have to agree about the book-ness X3 I love keeping tons of copies of stuff I've been working on and just keeping them in folders... I actually got some of my work bound two years ago XD It looks awesome, but since I had to print it out, the printer was being spastic and... yeah x_x" And I love hardcovers too X3 They are teh snazzy-ness :XD:

Ooh, acoustic X3 You'll have lots of fun with that =D Like, acoustic guitar is supposedly one of the easiest instruments to improvise on (considering that you know how to play, first, that is XD; ) so maybe you could write some songs? o.o
X_X OMG OUCH that must've hurt DX I'm assuming that a belt sander is like that circular sanding thing that they have in woodwork (I can't remember what it's called T_T"") so damn... Hope your finger (and sounds like your arm too x____x) get better soon :hug:
From the sounds of it, I'm assuming you're a lefty then, eh? o.O (I can't remember which hand you used at your panel T_T; ) Because I always thought that the pick for most people (of who are right-handed... XD) was held in the right hand... but I might just be ignorant, being surrounded by guitars most of the time anyway :XD:;;

*sigh* Yeah, what with speech day rehearsals, exams and wrapping everything up it gets really hectic T___T What you said about assignments reminded me of Years 5 and 6... omg, we got a frickin' total of FIFTEEN PLUS PROJECTS A TERM TT____________TT;;;;;;; But at least we all got that out of the way, and yay for senior school! :XD:
Well, thank you for the well wishes ^_^ And hope your assignments and exam go well! =D

WoT is the only thing of great substance that Jordan has written, actually xD;... apart from some Conan the Barbarian novels... if you're into fantasy, some other really good series are the Empire Trilogy by Janny Wurts and Raymond E. Feist, the Obernewtyn Chronicles and Darksong Trilogy by Isobelle Carmody, and anything by Robin Hobb~

Actually, it was only my finger... and I'm actually not left handed... Omg maybe I've been holding the guitar wrong this whole time! :crying: Oh well... I'll figure it out eventually. But it's probably better this way for the moment since using the frets with my left hand would be more painful xD;... Thankyou for the well wishes though. I can be very glad it's only a bit of scraped skin and not a missing finger or some other horribleness that could occur when sanders and ban saws are around.

All my assignments are at least 3/4 done except for one, so I'm not stressing too much. I just need to finish a few things here and there and then get stuck into this evil... research life-cycle analysis thing that I don't really know what it is anyway...

Hmm, all that trilogy-ness reminded me that I read the Wind on Fire Trilogy a few years ago XD; If you haven't read that, then I reccomend you read that, since it seems that you're into a lot of fantasy novels X3

LOL I actually just asked one of my friends (I'm in DT at the moment T_T OMG BORING but our folios are due... :crying: ) who plays bass guitar, and she said yes, if you're right handed, you're meant to strum with your right hand XD Haha, well yeah, playing the guitar right now in your situation might be a bit painful o.o Humm, and I think you should really consider yourself lucky... one of the girls in my year had an incident with the sanding machine x_x Ouch.

Oh yeah, before I forget, I've been talking to some Sydney-sider dA-ers, and we're thinking about organizing some kind of meet-up in the holidays ^^ I think it'd be cool if you could come, but the holidays are still quite a while off, though, but I just thought I'd tell you =)

Well, I have two english assignments and this DT one I'm finishing right now (TT____TT) due this week... *sigh* So I better get back to work :crying: And that project sounds interesting o.O Well good luck with that ^_^

did you happen to look up colette's dress? When you mentioned the fact about rukia I ventured a look, lol. But yeah... maybe they decided fangirl service is just as profitable? XD;;
Yeah~! Draw Bleach fanart X3~! Have it ready for next year's conventions, but I hope they don't do 2 at the same time, I wasn't able to go to the supanova 'cause they were too close together.
Take care~~
