SUPANOVA 2005 - October 15 & 16, Wharf 8 Sydney [link]
Dun dun duuun. Announcing Kimi's 'pre-order and save!' print promotion~ If you are planning on attending either Animania or Supanova 2005 this year and would like a print of anything, just drop me a message. Not only will you guarantee yourself a copy (Heaven forbid I'll sell out at Animania anyway...), but you'll save 15% off the normal convention price of all A sized prints~

But if you do happen to be interested, give me a list of what prints you would like and which convention you'll be picking them up at. If for some reason you can't make it on the day you specify, please tell me beforehand so I can figure out a way to mail it to you later on. Otherwise it'll all go under the bargain-bin hammer on Sunday at Supanova.
PRICING
Standard convention price first, followed by discounted price. Prices are about 90% confirmed, but won't change by more than $1 anyway.
Colour A3 - $8 [$6.80]

B+W A3 - $4 [$3.40]
B+W A4 - $2 [$1.70]
Colour
Quality colour printing on 200gsm stock with any excess edges trimmed by yours truly
. They'll have a matt finish like last year.Black and White
These will be the lineart versions, as opposed to just a B+W versions of the colour images. I'll only print a very low number of these, unless the image is intended to be in B+W. Also, a 'yes' next to B+W means there's a lineart version available, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'll be printing off copies. If you really want one, just say and I'll make a copy~ :3
Lamination
If you want any of your prints laminated, I'll do it on your behalf at no extra cost aside from covering the price of lamination. Currently that's $2.20 for A4 and $3.30 for A3

Expected print-run means the number of prints I'm planning on doing to sell across both conventions. Low is under 10, medium is 10-30, and high is 30+ (I'm using Animania last year as a guide). If you want something original or more obscure, it might be better to pre-order in case something runs out. If you're planning on attending Supanova I would also recommend it, because I'll be selling the remainder of prints from Animania, so I'm more likely to be understocked than overstocked (I'd rather sell-out at Supanova than be left trying to flog lots of extras)

hehe i just came across your page and was reading your journal and i wanted to ask a few things about your prints because i want to make my own prints too but am a bit lost about paper and was wondering if you could give me some advice?
for the post cards i wanted to ask wat paper it is? cause i have 235gsm glossy photo paper but its still a bit thin to be postcard. is there like a special postcard paper or are you using non glossy paper?

Hmm, for my postcards last year I just used 200gsm non-glossy (the same as I used for my posters). It's not a bad weight, but you could try 250gsm if it feels a bit light. Or, you could ask a printing place if they have really heavy paper or thin card.
Matt laminate is a thing they have at my local Kwik Kopy, which as the name suggests, is basically a non-glossy laminate. It's a bit pricier compared to normal glossy sleeve laminate, but I use it for my bookmarks to get a nice finish and so they don't get damaged as easily :3
If in doubt, just talk it over with your local printing shop, as they usually have a range of paper weights and finishes available~
ohhh you get your stuff printed? nice price.. lol my local print place is office works, it sux :/ i mean its good for some things, but last time i got a card printed there not happy with results or the price i paid >.< so i do my own printing, i've been thinking about doing my own laminating, so saving up for the machine, but its like $70 for one so maybe i should see how much they charge for laminating XD
do the postcards have where the stamp and stuff is meant to go on the back?

if you want a propper postcard you'd have to set up the template yourself and do double-sided printing, unless there's a place which would print pre-set postcards with your own images on the front. Mine were more postcard-sized, as oppose to being actual postcards....
Kinko's is another good place to print stuff, although they're mostly self-serve.

Haha, I still haven't got my Animania confirmation either, and it took about a month or so for Supanova to give us confirmation too. I guess organising a convention can get quite busy.
hmm yea i guess XD when is the animania happening? our manifest one is like a mnth and a bit away, so everyone is really really desperate to get a reply, for preparations and stuff.
lol i know A4 is like 70$ish here, not sure on A3 XD
